Sergey Novikov
Sergey Novikov seems to defy gravity in his straps act "Opposition" The young artist from Ukraine skillfully combines power and elegance with full risk. The daredevil aerial performans is an interplay of sophisticated acrobatics and spectacular falls into the depth, which are legendary already. The rises and falls of Sergey Novikov, reflect the ups and downs of life, so every spectator interprets the performance individually. The extraordinary straps act was created in 2010/2011 in Kiev (Ukraine) and was introduced to the circus world in June 2011 at the 1st International Circus Festival "Golden trick".
Bekka Rose
Bekka Rose is a professional circus artist renowned for her uniquely lyrical juggling style. Based in Montreal, she has performed and toured in Canada and around the world with companies including Les Parfaits Inconnus, Wonderbolt Circus, Hand Me Down Circus, Creativiva, Cirque Éloize and Cirque du Soleil, as a juggler and hand-to-hand acrobat. Often described as “smooth” and “poetic,” Bekka’s feminine choreography sets her apart from other jugglers. Her technique has developed over a lifetime of training, from children’s classes at Cirkids in Vancouver, to residencies with Sergey Ignatov in Berlin and Jay Gilligan in Stockholm, to the professional degree program at the Quebec Circus School, from which Bekka graduated in 2013.
